This extremely rare 52 year old Macallan was released in 2018 after maturing in a first-fill European oak sherry seasoned cask, sourced from Jerez De La Frontera for over half a century. The Macallan distillery released a number of impressively aged single malts, beginning with their second bottling of a 50 year old, followed by this even rarer release, the 52 year old. Very limited edition of just 250 bottles.
